Yes! You can get a Gift Card of any amount and send it to that special someone. All gift certificates do not expire. Thank you for supporting us!

Yes, we do! We are delivering throughout the Bay Area. Simply enter your zip code at checkout or cart to calculate the delivery fee.

If you’ve purchased a plant from us and it dies (darn it!) within 7 days, we can issue store credit or swap only IF there are “proven pest-related issues”.

The care and well-being of a plant are up to you, so if you overwater or leave your plant in full sun, it can die or cause irreparable damage, in this instance we cannot issue a replacement or credit if we find the issue was related to poor/incorrect care given after the plant has been purchased.

In-store we are always happy to give advice on our plant selection. If you have purchased a plant from us, we’re always available to help with any Qs. If you have a problem with your plant, Please go here to report an issue.

We named our business after our first dog, Mellow, who we found through Hop Along Animal Rescue in Oakland in 2013. We also love our second dog, Lilac, but we wanted a name that was universal and did not restrict us to something specifically floral.


All purchases are final. No refunds. It is our sole discretion to offer store credit under unique circumstances.

Workshops Qs

Always sign up in advance, this helps our teachers prepare the correct amount of materials and ensures there is enough space to learn in. Ergo, we can’t welcome walk-ins.

Yes! For using your gift certificate for a workshop simply visit our calendar, select the workshop you are interested in, and enter the gift certificate code when prompted.

This could be because of an emergency or simply because we were not able to meet the minimum headcount needed for this workshop to take place. All classes need to reach a minimum in order for it to be sustainable. In case we cancel, we will refund you or offer you credit.

We offer a 48hr prior to the event cancellation policy. Please check our policy at the event page details. Thanks for your understanding!

All classes have a minimum and a maximum amount of students per session. This is due to the teachers preference and due to our space capacity. Alas, we cannot squeeze you or a friend in . If there are no new openings on the workshop’s booking page, then no space has opened up. We suggest you to signup to our Newsletter so you get notified when new dates get listed.

We encourage you to arrive 10-15mins prior to the scheduled workshop time. Please note that if you arrive any earlier we will ask you to wait outside so that our teachers can prepare the space.

All teachers will wait 5-10mins to begin, which is more than enough time for students to arrive. If you are 20mins+ late we cannot promise you that you will be allowed into that workshop. Furthermore, we cannot guarantee a refund or to reschedule you. Please be respectful of the teacher and the others, plan accordingly.

All public workshops are geared toward adults, 21+ since we allow you to BYOB.

Due to space capacity and allergies please do not bring your pups or babies into a workshop. If you do, we will have to ask you to leave and will do our best to rebook your workshop for a future date. If you have a service dog this doesn’t apply to you.

Yes! We offer 20% off all items in our store when you attend a workshop.

Sorry, no food! We provide light snacks and refreshments. BYOB is allowed, we don’t provide cups or bottle openers. You have to take your trash with ya. Pack in, Pack out.
